Der Weg von Jari Vassinger führte ihn von einer Ausbildung zum staatlich geprüften Telekommunikationstechniker, über ein Diplom für Kinotechnik, Filmschule Prag hin zur bildenden Kunst. An der Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart bei Prof. Günther Geffken studierte er grafische Reproduktion und war in der Künstlerwerkstatt des Hauses der Künstler tätig.
Sein Interesse für die dritte Dimension mit Plastiken und Assemblagen entstand während seiner Weiterbildung in Grafik/Malerei am Institut für Bildende Kunst und Kunsttherapie (IBKK) bei Prof. Bruno Konrad in Bochum. 1997 erhielt er für seine Ausstellung „Freude am Gestalten“ eine Auszeichnung der Stadt Isny.
Er arbeitet überwiegend mit Glas. 2003 machte er sich mit seinem Glaskunstatelier selbstständig und arbeitet als freier Künstler und Dozent an der VHS Selb. Er ist Mitglied im Fränkischen Künstlerbund, Verein Hochfranken und Focus-europa. Ab 1982 hatte er mehrere nationale/internationale Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen. Seine Kunstwerke befinden sich in verschiedenen städtischen und privaten Sammlungen.
Meine Philosophie
Glas als Spiegel der menschlichen Seele. Glas bildet transparente Oberflächen und schafft in Kombination mit Farben eine einzigartige Ausdruckskraft. Glas ist nicht nur zerbrechlich, sondern auch zäh. Ich möchte meinen Kunstwerken einen individuellen Ausdruck verleihen. Mit neuen Werkzeugen versuche ich, meine Gefühle aufs Glas zu bringen.
Glas entspricht am ehesten meinen Gedanken und in Stein drücke ich meine Seele aus. Ich sehe Edelsteine als Fenster zur menschlichen Seele. Ergänzt werden Glas und Stein durch verschiedene Metalle. Sie sind der Schutz der Seele. Es ist mein Wunsch, das Geheimnis des Lebens zu entdecken.
Das Wichtigste für mich ist die Idee. Erst kommt die Idee, dann die Würze und am Ende die Arbeit. So ist meine Schöpfung.
Jari Vassinger's path led him from hier education as a state-certified telecommunications technician to a diploma in cinema technology at the Prague film school and on to the fine arts. At the National Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart with Prof. Günther Geffken, he studied graphic reproduction and worked in the artist workshop of the House of Artists.
His interest in the third dimension with sculptures and assemblages arose during his further training in graphics / painting at the Institute for Fine Arts and Art Therapy (IBKK) with Prof. Bruno Konrad in Bochum. In 1997 he received an award from the city of Isny for his exhibition “Joy of Design”.
He works mostly with glass. In 2003 he set up his own glass art studio and works as a freelance artist and lecturer at the VHS Selb. He is a member of the Franconian Artists Association, Association of High Franconia and Focus-Europa. From 1982 he had several national / international solo and group exhibitions. His works of art are in various municipal and private collections.
My philosophy
Glass as a mirror of the human soul. Glass forms transparent surfaces and, in combination with colors, creates a unique expressiveness. Glass is not only fragile, it is also tough. I want to give my works of art an individual expression. With new tools I try to bring my feelings to the glass.
Glass corresponds most closely to my thoughts and in stone I express my soul. I see gemstones as a window to the human soul. Glass and stone are complemented by various metals. You are the protection of the soul. It is my desire to discover the secret of life.
The most important thing for me is the idea. First comes the idea, then the seasoning and, in the end, the work. Such is my creation.
