focus-europa e.V.

focus-europa was founded in 2005 in Neudrossenfeld as a society for the promotion of regional and transnational art and cultural exchange. The occasion was the Neudrossenfelder Europatage, which takes place every two years.. In the meantime, more than 90 members have joined the association focus-europa, half of them artists from the fields of visual and performing arts.
Philosophy
focus-europa is an initiative of artists and art lovers, supported by leaders from culture, politics and business with the aim of promoting the convergence of Europe. Through art and art, networks are set up within Europe that serve as a natural partner of the arts to both artists and business, and that help to improve communication within Europe.
Art without borders
Focus-europe relies on the honorary commitment of all members and wants to develop ideas and visions through networking and creativity. In doing so, the overcoming of national, linguistic or cultural borders in the united Europe should be in the foreground.
Targets and goals

• acting and thinking in european scale
• Audience-oriented events such as exhibitions, symposia, theater, lectures, readings.
• Collaboration with artists, art associations, private institutions and public institutions.
• Training programs with seminars, courses and workshops by recognized artists and lecturers.
